Nas Memórias do Coração - Vis Dev

Nas Memórias do Coração / Heart Memories is a very special project thesis made for my Visual Development and Storytelling classes by Monique Alencar (@nickyzilla) on CG World Art School.

This project means a lot for me, because it tells about GRIEF, but in the perspective of missing the old times that you lived with your family that are still super precious to you.

I made this project for my Grandpa Chico (Vovô Chico), who passed away to another world in 2022, and as a huge supporter of my artwork since I was a very tiny Julia and a best friend and father figure, he deserves all the best I could create with my hands and mind.

I really loved working on this project together with my teacher Nickyzilla, it was truly one of what I like to call "life changing experience" to be a part of this Vis Dev course.

To draw cars, houses and think on tiny motifs that would help my characters and their own world become richer, was incredibly amazing and I'll be forever grateful to have the opportunity of developing "Nas Memórias do Coração/Heart Memories" based on my childhood when I visit my grandparents in their cozy home at the beach.
